You don’t need to be a wordsmith to do well in this word game – you just need to follow the rules.

Using a starting grid of 3 x 3 word rule cards, you have 60 seconds to come up with a word that can meet as many of the rules in the grid to score points. Meet some of the word rule examples:

As long as you can trace an orthogonal path of meeting rule cards you can score those cards. If you share a card with an opponent the overall score is reduced. So try to use the harder rule cards. You get bonus points if you use 5 or 6 rule cards in a round.

Every round (or other round, depending on player count) the grid grows, until the last round ending with a 5 x 5 grid.

After 5 or 6 rounds (depending on player count) tally your scores from every round and the player with the most points is the winner!

Note: We discovered a couple of errors in the rules and have uploaded a new set of rules. These changes are:
For the 2-4 player game, the grid grows like this: 3×3(x2), 3×4(x2), then 4×4 (x2).
In the example of play we replaced the Ends with P with a Starts with P word rules card.
