Recruit adventurers into your guild and use their power and effects to become the guild with the most glory in the land of YRO!
The land of YRO is bustling world filled with guilds, factions, and professions. The factions are:
The Sunrise Islands, land of small but fierce half-animal creatures;
The Wooden Conclave, that gathers the magical dwellers of the forest;
The Wandering Market, of which you can never know their next location;
The Mining Company, where inventors dig restlessly for new treasures;
The Floating City, where Magic and Technology find balance;
The Order of the Dragon Knights, that for eons have protected the land of YRO.
From these factions you will recruit the adventurers for your guild and challenge the others for Quests and Glory!
Each turn you run through 6 phases simultaneously:
Draw: draw a hand of 5 cards
Recruit: bring out 0-2 adventurers and place them in your 3×3 grid: placement matters for linking bonuses AND combat. Also, resolve Recruit effects.
Combat: add up the power values of your frontline adventurers to win VPs
Production: Your adventurers produce Magic and Technology
Income: Gain money to pay for adventurers – and convert to VPs in the end
Victory Points: straight up gain of VPs
Featuring dual layer player boards where you track your Magic and Technology. And a dual layer shared board, where Power and VPs are tracked.
Optional variants include Solo play, Quests, and Drafting.
